This project  is a series of photographs that tell stories about people’s dreams.

Being a newly Graduate from Art Universities, I started searching for different jobs and filling a lot of different applications for different positions, it didn’t take me long before I realised that it is not going to be easy to work in the job that I dreamed of, realising this fact I started thinking of all the people who are from the working class, working in jobs such as, Security guards, Receptionists, cooks in restaurants, labour workers, and other people working in positions that are not exactly what they have dreamed to become.

 

I set out on a mission, where I will be interacting, and interviewing people from the working class living in the United Arab Emirates, and asking them what did they wish to become before getting the job that they are in. 

Using the medium of photography I document the candidates in their everyday environment while asking them to wear costumes that represent their dreams and desires while creating a situation that suggests a relationship between two different, possibilities, lives, and dreams
